Job summary

Mark-Taylor in Tempe, AZ is hiring a Service Technician to keep our communities running smoothly by handling maintenance repairs and upkeep while delivering five-star service.

You'll troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues, perform preventive maintenance, assist in make-ready units, and contribute to safety and cleanliness across properties. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• General knowledge in Plumbing, Electrical, Pool Maintenance, HVAC, Carpentry, Landscape Maintenance, Appliances, OSHA standards.
• Knowledge of building systems.
• Service oriented approach to maintenance and residents.
• Basic computer skills for logs and work orders.
• Experience as apartment turn technician or make-ready technician is desirable.
• Basic written and verbal English required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintain adequate supply for the community.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose minor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
• Perform daily pool care and ensure chemical balance and safety.
• Carry out minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and key cutting.
• Inspect property for safety hazards and report to Manager of Facilities.
• Share on-call duties with team and respond as needed in uniform.
