Job summary

Mark-Taylor is hiring a Service Technician at Somerset in Glendale, AZ. You will help keep our communities running smoothly by handling maintenance repairs and contributing to the upkeep of the community, while providing the five-star service that makes Mark-Taylor communities feel like home.

We’re looking for 1+ year of multifamily experience and knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and safety standards.

Qualifications

1+ year of multifamily experience as a maintenance/turn technician or work order technician.
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and OSHA-related standards.
Basic computer skills and a basic understanding of written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

Assist in completing make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintain adequate supply.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct minor AC/HEF issues, appliance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall repairs.
Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
Perform daily pool care and ensure chemical balance and safety.
Complete minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys.
Inspect the property for safety hazards and report to the Manager of Facilities and Service.
Share on-call duty with Manager of Facilities and Service and be available in uniform.
Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.
