Matrix Packaging Machinery, a ProMach company, is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to support installation, servicing, and training of packaging machinery across the US and internationally. The role requires extensive travel and on-site problem-solving to meet specifications and ensure customer satisfaction.

The candidate will troubleshoot, program machine controls, and provide on-site or remote support, with a focus on high-quality service and collaboration with customers and teams.

Competenze

• Must understand mechanical and electrical principles.
• Experience or familiarity with PLC programming preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Matrix Packaging Machinery is seeking a talented Field Service Technician.

• Ensure all established inspection, testing, quality and operating specifications are met.
• Directs and or oversees customer’s personnel during plant machinery installations and integrations or servicing (repair and/or troubleshooting).
• May provide on-site customizing of machine programs by revising programs to meet the customer needs.
• Occasionally maintain a 24-hour on-call status and provide customer technical telephone support.
• Will provide factory floor support when not providing customer field service support/travel.
• Provide customer training regarding the operation & service of our machinery.
• Assist customers with aftermarket parts needs will in the field.
• Successful candidate must possess knowledge/skills of mechanical and electrical principles and be willing to travel extensively within the US and, from time to time, internationally.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills and a strong customer service focus.
• Familiarity with PLC/PC systems helpful.
• Proficiency in Windows & MS software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to train customer personnel on equipment.
• Prefer experience in flexible packaging material machinery.
• PLC programming experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel a minimum of 75%.

Salary Range: $37.00 - $50.00 per hour.
