Job summary

BAUER Equipment America, a subsidiary representing BAUER Maschinen GmbH in the USA, seeks a Service Technician for Conroe, Texas. You will handle service requests, diagnose and repair equipment, and support customers on-site or at partner facilities.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or technical education in mechanical/hydraulic/electrical fields, at least 2 years of field service or repair experience, strong English communication, and willingness to travel nationwide or

• Must have the ability to diagnose and repair BAUER Equipment at customer sites, facilities or partner locations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Valid passport and driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Receive service requests and diagnose/repair BAUER equipment at facilities, customer sites, or partner locations.
• Provide technical assistance in person or by phone to BAUER internal and external parties and individuals.
• Coordinate service requests with the appropriate Service departments and the corresponding manager/supervisor.
• Research and determine spare parts needs and propose spare part packages to customers.
• Ensure compliance with BAUER Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards in the field.

Your profile:

• High school diploma or degree in amechanical, hydraulic or electrical machinery related field or equivalenteducation
• At least 2 years of training and/or experience as Technician, Mechanic,Electrician or similar position, experience in field repair and troubleshootingdesired
• Able to effectively communicate verbally and in written English
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Must have a valid passport and driver’s license
