Job summary

BAUER Equipment America represents BAUER Maschinen GmbH in the USA and is seeking a Service Technician for Livermore, CA. The role involves diagnosing and repairing BAUER equipment at our facilities, at customer sites, or with business partners.

You will provide technical assistance in person or by phone, coordinate service requests, determine spare parts needs, and ensure adherence to HSE standards. Travel nationally and internationally is expected; a valid passport and driver's license are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent in a mechanical, hydraulic or electrical machinery related field.
• At least 2 years of training and/or experience as Technician, Mechanic, Electrician or similar.
• Able to communicate verbally and in written English.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Must have a valid passport and driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Receive service requests, diagnose and repair BAUER Equipment at BAUER facilities, customer sites, or partner locations.
• Provide technical assistance in person or by phone to BAUER internal and external parties.
• Coordinate service requests with the appropriate Service departments and manager/supervisor.
• Research and determine spare parts needs and suggest spare part packages to customers.
• Ensure compliance with BAUER HSE standards in the field.

• Receive servicerequests, conduct technical diagnose and repair of all BAUER Equipment at BAUERfacilities, at customer sites, or at business partner locations
• Provide technicalassistance in person or by phone to BAUER internal and external parties andindividuals
• Coordinate service requestswith appropriate Service departments and the correspondig manager/supervisor
• Research and determine spare parts needs and suggestspare part packages to customers
• Compliance, participate and execute BAUER standards in the field of Health,Safety & Environment (HSE)

Your profile:

• High school diploma or degree in amechanical, hydraulic or electrical machinery related field or equivalenteducation
• At least 2 years of training and/or experience as Technician, Mechanic,Electrician or similar position, experience in field repair and troubleshootingdesired
• Able to effectively communicate verbally and in written English
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Must have a valid passport and driver’s license
