Job summary

BAUER Equipment America in Livermore, California, USA, is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair BAUER equipment at facilities, customer sites, or partner locations.

You will provide technical assistance, coordinate service requests with service departments and managers, and research spare parts needs to propose part packages. Travel nationally and internationally is required; a valid passport and driver's license are necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical education in mechanical, hydraulic or electrical machinery.
• At least 2 years of field service or technician experience, with repair/troubleshooting preferred.
• Good verbal and written English communication.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Passport and driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Receive service requests and diagnose and repair BAUER equipment at facilities, customer sites, or partner locations.
• Provide technical assistance in person or by phone to BAUER internal and external parties.
• Coordinate service requests with appropriate service departments and managers.
• Research spare parts needs and propose spare part packages to customers.
• Adhere to BAUER Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards in the field.

Our subsidiary BAUER Equipment America represents BAUER Maschinen GmbH in the USA and is looking for a Service Technician (m/f/x) for the location in Livermore, California, USA.

• Receive servicerequests, conduct technical diagnose and repair of all BAUER Equipment at BAUERfacilities, at customer sites, or at business partner locations
• Provide technicalassistance in person or by phone to BAUER internal and external parties andindividuals
• Coordinate service requestswith appropriate Service departments and the correspondig manager/supervisor
• Research and determine spare parts needs and suggestspare part packages to customers
• Compliance, participate and execute BAUER standards in the field of Health,Safety & Environment (HSE)

Your profile:

• High school diploma or degree in amechanical, hydraulic or electrical machinery related field or equivalenteducation
• At least 2 years of training and/or experience as Technician, Mechanic,Electrician or similar position, experience in field repair and troubleshootingdesired
• Able to effectively communicate verbally and in written English
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Must have a valid passport and driver’s license
