Job summary

BAUER Equipment America in the USA is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/x) for Conroe, Texas. You will diagnose and repair BAUER Equipment at facilities, on customer sites, or at partners’ locations, and provide on-site technical support.

You will coordinate service requests with Service departments, advise on spare parts, and uphold Health, Safety & Environment standards. Travel nationally and internationally with a valid passport and driver's license is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or degree in mechanical, hydraulic or electrical machinery field.
• 2+ years of training/experience as Technician/Mechanic/Electrician or similar.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive service requests, diagnose and repair BAUER Equipment at facilities, customer sites, or partner locations.
• Provide technical assistance in person or by phone to BAUER internal and external parties.
• Coordinate service requests with Service departments and the relevant manager/supervisor.
• Research spare parts needs and propose parts packages to customers.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards in the field.

• Research and determine spare parts needs and suggestspare part packages to customers

Your profile:

• High school diploma or degree in amechanical, hydraulic or electrical machinery related field or equivalenteducation
• At least 2 years of training and/or experience as Technician, Mechanic,Electrician or similar position, experience in field repair and troubleshootingdesired
• Able to effectively communicate verbally and in written English
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Must have a valid passport and driver’s license
