Job summary

North American Refrigeration is seeking a Service Technician to travel to customer facilities across the United States, installing, repairing, maintaining, and testing ammonia, cascade, CO2, and Freon refrigeration systems.

You will diagnose issues, implement practical solutions, perform system start-ups after construction, and maintain strong customer relations while adhering to safety procedures and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with installation, repair and maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems.

• Knowledge of electrical components and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide service & support by traveling to customer facilities across the U.S. to install, repair, maintain, and test equipment.
• Diagnose issues, determine solutions, and communicate resolutions to customer or Service Manager.
• Complete pump-outs and start up equipment after construction projects.
• Build strong relationships with customers while keeping them informed about service progress.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure incident reporting is timely and accurate.
• Submit accurate and timely expense reports per company guidelines.
• Maintain a clean driving record and travel extensively across the continental U.S.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to keep projects moving.

What You'll Do:

• Provide Service & Support: Travel to customer facilities across the U.S. to install, repair, maintain, and test facility equipment.
• Problem Solving: Diagnose issues, determine the right solutions, and communicate resolutions to the customer or Service Manager.
• System Start-Ups: Complete pump-outs and start up equipment after construction projects, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
• Customer Interaction: Build strong relationships with customers while keeping them informed about service progress and solutions.
• Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all safety procedures and ensure incident reporting is timely and accurate.
• Expense Management: Submit accurate and timely expense reports in line with North American Refrigeration's guidelines.
• Clean Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record and be prepared to travel extensively across the continental U.S.
• Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to keep projects moving forward and customers happy.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: CIRO/CARO certifications, experience with industrial refrigeration systems, and knowledge of electrical components.
