Job summary

North American Refrigeration is seeking a Service Technician to travel across the United States, install, repair, and maintain industrial refrigeration equipment. You will diagnose issues, communicate solutions, and ensure projects start up smoothly after construction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; assoc. degree preferred.
• CIRO/CARO certifications preferred for this role.
• Experience with industrial refrigeration systems and electrical components.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer facilities across the U.S. to install, repair, maintain, and test equipment.
• Diagnose issues, determine solutions, and communicate resolutions to customers.
• Complete pump-outs and start-up equipment after construction projects.
• Build strong customer relationships and keep clients informed about service progress.
• Follow safety procedures and timely incident reporting.
• Submit accurate and timely expense reports.
• Maintain a clean driving record and travel extensively across the continental U.S.
• Take on additional duties to keep projects moving.

What You'll Do

• Provide Service & Support: Travel to customer facilities across the U.S. to install, repair, maintain, and test facility equipment.
• Problem Solving: Diagnose issues, determine the right solutions, and communicate resolutions to the customer or Service Manager.
• System Start-Ups: Complete pump-outs and start up equipment after construction projects, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
• Customer Interaction: Build strong relationships with customers while keeping them informed about service progress and solutions.
• Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all safety procedures and ensure incident reporting is timely and accurate.
• Expense Management: Submit accurate and timely expense reports in line with North American Refrigeration's guidelines.
• Clean Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record and be prepared to travel extensively across the continental U.S.
• Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to keep projects moving forward and customers happy.
