Job summary

General Services Corporation is seeking a Service Technician III to perform HVAC repair, installation, and routine maintenance for apartment communities. You will complete service requests, ensure high-quality customer service to residents, and adhere to OSHA and environmental regulations.

The role requires hands-on HVAC and plumbing skills, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license; Spanish is a plus. A sign-on bonus is offered after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of HVAC repair, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
• EPA Certification Type 2 or Universal required.
• HVAC installation and troubleshooting experience.
• Apartment maintenance experience a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Passing a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Strong initiative and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests promptly and proficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Repair and/or install appliances and HVAC units as needed.
• Comply with environmental and OSHA regulations and company policies.

Job Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to our Residents.
• Repair and/or install all appliances and HVAC units as necessary to maintain a quality dwelling.
• Must comply with all environmental and OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Handle other general maintenance tickets as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have at least 3 years' experience in HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry, and electrical skills.
• Must be EPA Certified (Type 2 or Universal).
