Job summary

General Services Corporation seeks a Service Technician III to perform on-site maintenance, repair, and installation of appliances and HVAC systems in residential properties. You will ensure quality workmanship while upholding safety standards and customer service excellence.

The role requires EPA certification, 3+ years of HVAC/plumbing/electrical work, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 100 lbs. Spanish skills are a plus and a criminal background check is required.

Qualifications

• Basic maintenance and service skills across HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical areas.
• EPA Certification (Type 2 or Universal) required.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to lift 100 lbs; background check and pre-employment drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to Residents.
• Repair and/or install all appliances and HVAC units to maintain quality dwelling.
• Comply with environmental and OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Handle other general maintenance tickets as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to our Residents.
• Repair and/or install all appliances and HVAC units as necessary to maintain a quality dwelling.
• Must comply with all environmental and OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Handle other general maintenance tickets as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Have at least 3 years' experience in HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry, and electrical skills.
• Must be EPA Certified (Type 2 or Universal).
• HVAC installation experience.
• HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Apartment maintenance experience is a plus.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Passing a criminal background check required.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Initiative and customer service skill.
