Job summary

Westdale Asset Management in North Dallas is seeking a Service Technician II for a 176-unit apartment community. You will perform HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing tasks to keep residents happy and apartments ready for arrival.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of on-site maintenance, EPA Level II or Universal Refrigerant Certification, MPO and CPO certifications, a valid Texas driver’s license, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of on-site property maintenance experience.
• Must have Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification.
• MPO and CPO certifications required.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair A/C and heating systems.
• Repair electrical and plumbing issues.
• Repair appliances and fixtures (stairs, gates, fences, railings, tile, carpet, flooring).
• Identify ceiling leaks and perform repairs.
• Maintain properties to ensure resident satisfaction.

Rate: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)
***Monthly renewal bonuses are paid in addition to base pay.***

We are seeking a Service Technician II for our176-unit apartment community in North Dallas!Our Service Technicians complete all aspects of apartment maintenance such as HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing. As Service Technician II, you keep our residents happy knowing that their apartment and appliance repairs will be done quickly and professionally. Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in on-site property maintenance
• Must have Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification.
• MPO & CPO certification.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment
• Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies

• Diagnosing and repairing basic and complex maintenance issues including, but not limited to:
  • A/C and heating systems
  • Electrical and plumbing

  • Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings
  • Tile, carpet, flooring
  • Ceiling leaks

Work Days: Monday – Friday
Work Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm; Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.
Required License or Certification:Valid Texas Driver’s License; Must have Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification.
