Job summary

Franklin Water Treatment in US Indiana Fort Wayne is seeking a Service Technician II to perform water system installations and maintenance, evaluate and repair customer systems, and ensure safety procedures are followed. Department: Retail

Location: US - Indiana - Fort Wayne

Compensation: $26.00 - $28.00 / hour

You’ll earn $26 to $28 per hour, based on experience, with overtime eligibility, and have the opportunity to put your mechanical skills and problem-solving ability to work where they will be valued.

What you will be doing

• Water systems installation and/or maintenance
• Evaluate and repair problems related to existing customer systems
• Comply with Health & Safety requirements related to installation and service procedures
• Meet daily installation and/or service schedule as assigned.
• Use available parts to assemble, install, and/or service various water treatment equipment or kits according to operating instructions.

What you need

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history.
• 2-5 years' experience working in a water treatment, plumbing or related mechanical trade.
• Strong work-ethic; self-motivated; and proven customer service skills.
• Punctual/dependable with great attendance.

Physical demands for the job

This role requires regular use of your hands and arms, and be on your feet, moving between sitting, standing, and walking. Frequent you may need to stoop, kneel, or crouch and frequently lift items weighing 50+ lbs.
