Job summary

Westdale Asset Management seeks a Service Technician I for a 168-unit apartment community in Shreveport, Louisiana. You will turn vacant units into ready homes and maintain the property grounds and common areas to uphold high standards for residents.

This hourly non-exempt position offers a competitive pay rate with monthly renewal bonuses and opportunities to advance within the company. A valid Louisiana driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of maintenance experience in apartment communities, commercial buildings, or single-family residences.
• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented environment.
• Weekends as circumstances warrant; Weekly on-call rotation for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
• Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
• Walking the property grounds and common areas as well as picking up trash and debris.
• Performing any additional duties assigned by both the Community Manager and/or Service Supervisor.

Rate: $16.00- $17.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

As Service Technician I, you will turn vacant units into beautiful apartments, preparing them for new residents to call home. You will also be responsible for the general upkeep of the property grounds and common areas.
