Westdale Asset Management is hiring a Service Technician I for a 314-unit apartment community in Shreveport, LA. The role focuses on turning vacant units into ready homes and maintaining grounds and common areas. If you enjoy a hands-on, team-oriented environment, this is a great fit.

Formación

• At least 6 months of maintenance experience on an apartment community or similar setting.
• Must meet physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Work weekends as needed; on-call 1 week per month.
• Valid Driver’s License in Louisiana or neighboring state.

Responsabilidades

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
• Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
• Walking the property grounds and common areas and picking up trash and debris.
• Performing any additional duties assigned by the Community Manager and/or Service Supervisor.

Rate: $17.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)
***Monthly renewal bonuses are paid in addition to base pay.***

We are seeking a Service Technician I for our 314-unitapartment community in Shreveport, Louisiana! As Service Technician I, you will turn vacant units into beautiful apartments, preparing them for new residents to call home. You will also be responsible for the general upkeep of the property grounds and common areas. Requirements

• At least 6 months of previous maintenance experience on an apartment community, commercial building, or single-family residences.
• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call 1 week per month

Responsibilities

Work Days: Monday – Friday
Work Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm; Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call 1 week per month
Required License or Certification: Valid Driver’s License in the state of Louisiana, or a neighboring state in proximity to the property.
