Job summary

Westdale Asset Management in Austin, TX is seeking a Service Technician I to turn vacant units into ready homes and maintain grounds and common areas. You will work in a 252-unit community with a team-focused environment and opportunities for advancement.

The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience on an apartment community, the ability to follow directions, and a willingness to be on-call weekends. Valid Texas driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience on an apartment community.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• On-call on weekends on a rotating basis for emergencies.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
• Completing duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
• Walking the property grounds and common areas and picking up debris.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by Community Manager or Service Supervisor.

Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

Monthly renewal bonuses are paid in addition to base pay.

We are seeking a Service Technician I for our 252-unitapartment community located in the center of North Austin! As Service Technician I, you will turn vacant units into beautiful apartments, preparing them for new residents to call home. You will also be responsible for the general upkeep of the property grounds and common areas. Requirements

• At least 1 yearof previous maintenance experience on an apartment community.
• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
