Westdale seeks a Service Technician I for our 472-unit apartment community in Shreveport, Louisiana. You will turn vacant units into ready homes and maintain the property grounds and common areas to keep the community inviting.

The role is hourly, non-exempt, with a schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and occasional weekend on-call. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with match, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience on an apartment community.
• Must meet physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Able to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Weekends on-call 1 week per month or as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
• Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
• Walking the property grounds and common areas and picking up trash and debris.
• Performing additional duties assigned by the Community Manager or Service Supervisor.

Rate: $16.50- $17.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

As Service Technician I, you will turn vacant units into beautiful apartments, preparing them for new residents to call home. You will also be responsible for the general upkeep of the property grounds and common areas. • At least 1year of previous maintenance experience on an apartment community.
• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call 1 week per month or as needed.
