Job Overview

Kenworth Sales Co., a 37-location dealership group recognized as the 2020 Kenworth Dealer of the Year, is seeking a Service Technician to join our team in Ashland, VA. Responsibilities

• Perform quality repairs on customer equipment and recommend additional services as needed.
• Follow repair orders and maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Advise the Shop Foreman of any service changes or additional repairs needed.
• Maintain training on specialized equipment and techniques.
• Attend required training sessions.
• Record accurate work order details.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in medium/heavy truck repair.
• Strong mechanical skills and aptitude.
• VA State Inspector certification or willingness to obtain.
• Valid Class A or B CDL or willingness to obtain.
• Certifications in Paccar, Cummins, and CAT or willingness to obtain.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions.
