Job summary

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent is required.
• Three+ years of experience with advanced diagnostic and repair.
• ASE certifications, working toward or maintaining ASE Master Technician status.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• Manufacturer certified and trained to diagnose and repair multiple automotive systems, including engine drivability when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs efficiently and accurately according to repair orders, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, determine the root cause of malfunctions, and complete repairs safely.
• Road-test vehicles and verify repair quality before returning them to customers.
• Accurately document repair procedures, test results, and labor time using company systems.
• Maintain and provide a complete set of required technician tools, while properly returning dealership special tools.
• Use shop supplies and materials responsibly and cost-effectively.

• Schedule: (Monday - Friday 8am - 5:30pm, Saturday 9am - 4pm, closed on Sundays. Role requires flexible scheduling

What You’ll Do

• Perform vehicle repairs efficiently and accurately according to repair orders, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, determine the root cause of malfunctions, and complete repairs safely.

• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe, including daily stall cleaning.
• Ensure customer vehicles are returned clean and in the same condition as received.
• Complete all required training and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications.
• Communicate with dealership staff and promptly report any safety, security, or operational concerns to management.

What You’ll Bring

• Demonstrates sense of urgency while maintaining safety and expertise standards.
• Proficient in performing lube and maintenance, engine, suspension/steering, brake, electrical, and heating/A/C repairs.
• Manufacturer certified and trained to diagnose and repair multiple automotive systems, including engine drivability when applicable.
• ASE certifications, working toward or maintaining ASE Master Technician status.
• Productivity expectations with a customer pay proficiency level above 105%.
• Three+ years of experience with advanced diagnostic and repair expertise.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
