Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat of Anchorage is seeking an experienced Service Technician. The role focuses on performing lube/maintenance, engine and system repairs, diagnostics, and road-testing vehicles to ensure quality. You will document repairs and maintain required tools and safety standards.

ASE certifications are valued, with ongoing training to achieve Master Technician status. Compensation includes competitive pay and a flat rate up to $45 per hour, with a schedule that reflects

Qualifications

• Performs lube and maintenance, engine, suspension/steering, brake, electrical, and heating/AC repairs per manufacturer specs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to determine root causes and safe repairs.
• Maintain and use dealership tools, test equipment, and shop documentation accurately.
• ASE certifications in progress or achieved; commitment to Master Technician status.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs efficiently and accurately per repair orders and manufacturer specs.
• Diagnose issues and verify root causes for safe repairs.
• Road-test vehicles and verify repair quality before returning to customers.
• Document repair procedures, test results, and labor time in company systems.
• Keep tools and workspace organized, safe, and compliant with dealership standards.
• Complete required training and maintain ASE certifications.
