Job summary

NOV is seeking a qualified technician to oversee the preparation, service, and completion of downhole tools. You will operate safely the equipment required, including cranes and forklifts, and ensure accurate service documentation for every job.

You will work in a global team, adhere to HSEQ requirements, and support project action plans while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and meeting production demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience displayed and recorded applicable to service pertinent tools preferred.
• Sufficient training and experience to be familiar with the operational characteristics of company products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overall operation of preparation, service, and completion of Downhole tools.
• Service tools in a timely manner without deviation from Service Quality procedure.
• Complete demands of the Supervisors/Management pertaining to tool production.
• Develop accurate and complete data pertaining to service documentation in a timely manner.
• Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of equipment to perform duties required (Cranes, Forklifts, etc)
• Interact with personnel in other departments and disciplines.
• Participate in action plans for new projects defined by supervisor.
• Maintain the work environment as outlined by the shop supervisor.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in service of pertinent tools

Sufficient training & familiarity with company products

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Adheres to all HSEQ requirements
• Working hours to be identified by manager
• Lifting up to 70 lbs is required
• This position will require 10% domestic travel
• Must be able to work in factory environment which may include but are not limited to: high noise level, vibration, fumes, dust, and odors
• Working conditions may be inside and outside with extreme temperature

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience displayed and recorded which is applicable to the service pertinent tools preferred
• Sufficient training and experience to be thoroughly familiar with the operational characteristics of company products preferred
