Job summary

NOV is hiring a tool service technician in Odessa, TX to supervise the operation, service and completion of downhole tools, ensuring quality procedures are followed and data is accurately documented.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) are essential, and teamwork and attention to detail are prized at NOV.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience related to the service of pertinent tools preferred
• Forklift experience considered an asset
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Overall operation of preparation, service, and completion of Downhole tools
• Service tools in a timely manner without deviation from Service Quality procedure
• To complete demands of the lead hand pertaining to tool production
• Develop accurate and complete data pertaining to service documentation in a timely manner
• Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of equipment to perform duties required
• Interact with personnel in other departments and disciplines.

• Maintain the work environment as outlined by the shop supervisor
