In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment, using OEM tools and software while adhering to safety protocols. Ideal candidates will have mechanic experience along with knowledge of automotive and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a mechanic required.
• Computer experience including Microsoft Office and internet required.
• Knowledge of Cummins engine and Allison transmission preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment in the shop or field.
• Install, replace, rebuild or repair parts and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job description

Overview

Reporting to the service manager, the diesel service technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of the equipment in the shop or field environment, while maintaining an acceptable level of productivity.

Responsibilities

Includes, but is not limited to,

• Install, replace, re-build or repair the parts and/or equipment in a timely manner and according to specifications.
• Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns.
• Keep a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of PPE

Candidate Knowledge

• Mechanic: 1 year (Required)
• Knowledge of basic automotive systems, hydraulic systems and off-road equipment and components
• Must have computer experience including Microsoft Office, email, and internet
• CDL B (Preferred)
• Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation – Class A (Preferred)
• Cummins engine experience (Preferred)
• Allison transmission experience (Preferred)

Hours

• Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
