Qualifications

• Basic PC skills; some experience with Excel or equivalent is necessary.

Location: Washington, PA (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Occasional Overtime
Pay Range: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour (full‑time, hourly)

Job Overview

The Rental Technician is responsible for service, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and refurbishment of compressed air equipment such as air compressors and dryers.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, test, and refurbish compressed air equipment such as air compressors and dryers.
• Inspect and analyze malfunctions, dismantle, repair, adjust, and reassemble equipment as required.
• Test rental dryer and compressor equipment.
• Repair and refurbish rental dryer and compressor equipment.

Requirements

• 1+ year of mechanical/pneumatic service & repair experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical design drawings.
• Ability to drive a forklift.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform other physically demanding tasks.

Core Competencies

• Read wiring schematics and diagrams for all equipment.
• Basic PC skills; some experience with Excel or equivalent.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.

Preferences

• Knowledge of installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of dryers, compressors, and compressed air equipment.
• Experience with electric compressors and/or chillers.
• Refrigeration certifications and/or experience.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• High self‑motivation; ability to work independently.
• Veterans/Active‑Duty Military encouraged to apply.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
