Job Title: Rental Service Technician
Location: Washington, PA – Onsite
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Occasional Overtime
Pay Range: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour (full‑time, hourly)

Job Overview

The Rental Technician will service, troubleshoot, repair, test, and refurbish compressed air equipment such as air compressors and dryers. The role involves inspecting and analyzing malfunctions, dismantling, repairing, adjusting, and reassembling components to resolve operational issues. Extensive training and cross‑training on rental compressor and dryer technology will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot rental dryer and compressor equipment.
• Repair and refurbish rental dryer and compressor equipment.
• Inspect, analyze, dismantle, repair, adjust, and reassemble compressed air equipment as required.

Requirements

• 1+ year of mechanical/pneumatic service & repair experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical design drawings.
• Capability to drive a forklift.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks (walking, stooping, kneeling).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Read wiring schematics and diagrams for all equipment.
• Basic PC skills, experience with Excel or equivalent.
• Problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Effective multitasking.
• Excellent communication skills; self‑motivated, self‑starter; sense of urgency; personable and well‑organized.

Preferences

• Knowledge of installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of dryers, compressors, and compressed air equipment.
• Experience with electric compressors and/or chillers.
• Refrigeration certifications and/or experience.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Strong self‑motivation and independent work ability.
• Veteran or Active‑Duty Military applicants encouraged.
