Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Service Technician role based in North Atlanta, GA. The Service Technician will perform maintenance and repair on refrigeration, HVAC, and related control systems, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, completing field service calls, and accurately documenting work performed. The role involves communicating clearly with customers on findings, recommendations, and next steps, while adhering to company safety standards and regulatory requirements. The Service Technician will collaborate with the wider technical team, support installations and upgrades as needed, and maintain tools, vehicles, and parts inventory in good order.

Qualifications

• Strong Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills for refrigeration, HVAC, and related systems.
• Proficient Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
• Experience in Field Service, including on-site inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, respectful language.
• Relevant technical training or certification in HVAC/R or a related field; trade license or apprenticeship completion is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Comfort working in varied environments, including supermarkets, warehouses, and industrial facilities, and lifting or handling equipment as required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for travel to customer sites.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to company and industry safety practices.
• Effective time management, organization, and basic computer skills for service reporting.
