Description

SUMMARY:

Maintain all Casino and Citylink vehicles in operating condition adhering to FTA and Casino regulations for proper service and maintenance intervals. Coordinate daily shop responsibilities with the on-duty manager to ensure enough vehicles are in service for the various events, promotions and daily routes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Vehicle minor maintenance service
• Schedule Lube, Oil and Filter changes for engine, transmissions and rear ends
• Organizing and keeping shop clean and ready for use. Keeping tools organized and in their place when a task is complete
• Stocking parts in the proper areas and shelving so they can be easily found
• Cleaning and washing buses, including inside passenger areas
• Maintain adequate inventory of necessary fluids to complete vehicle services
• Keep proper records on service intervals and update daily
• Complete all paperwork regarding services and repairs at the end of each shift to ensure accuracy
• Submitting part orders on a timely basis and making recommendation on buses that need to be sent out for repairs
• Coordination with management on a daily basis on the order of business in the shop
• Maintain and wear appropriate uniforms and safety equipment while working in the shop
• Read materials on the various new buses to get familiar with different components
• Must be able to work alongside other mechanics or be able to communicate the current status of vehicles pending work in the shop
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Transportation Manager and his assistants

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Six months of related experience is required
• Customer service experience is preferred
