Job summary

Rollins, Inc. through its PermaTreat brand is seeking a Service Technician to join our Virginia team. You will learn the skills required to manage a pest control service route, build relationships with customers, and perform pest control tasks with a focus on safety and reliability.

Training is provided and you will work on a dedicated route in Central and Northern Virginia, delivering dependable service and scheduling your visits. No Experience required;19+ applicants welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a problem solver for customers by using training to decide on the best pest solution for each customer’s needs.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss additional services for a complete pest management program.
• Follow a route schedule within assigned territory and adapt to weather-related factors while ensuring timely arrival at each customer’s home.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
• Complete all required service-related documentation using the provided handheld device for speed and accuracy

Responsibilities

As a Service Technician , you will complete our award-winning, paid training to learn the skills required to be successful in the daily operation of a pest control service route. As a representative of our service team, you will build relationships with our customers, perform pest control related functions, and schedule and run your own route !

You W ill…

• Serve as a problem solver for your customers by combining the in-depth training provided and attention to detail to decide on the most efficient and best overall pest solution for each customer's needs
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and practice customer service skills by discussing additional services that meet customer needs for a complete pest management program
• Follow a route schedule within assigned territory, allow flexibility with customer and weather-related factors and ensur e timely and safe arrival at each customer’s home
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
• Complete all required service-related documentation and leverage your hand-held device provided for speed and accuracy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.
