Job summary

PermaTreat is seeking a Service Technician (Maintenance) to join our Virginia service team. You will complete paid training to learn pest control operations, build strong customer relationships, and manage your own service route with a focus on safety and quality.

You will use a handheld device for documentation and work from a company vehicle. We offer comprehensive benefits, competitive pay, and opportunities to grow within the Rollins family of brands.

Qualifications

• Entry-level welcome; no experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 18+ to apply.

Responsibilities

• As a Service Technician, complete our paid training to learn pest control service skills.
• Build relationships with customers and schedule/run your own pest control route.
• Provide solutions by applying training and attention to detail for customer needs.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and offer additional services.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain clean equipment.
• Complete service documentation using a handheld device.

Responsibilities

Are you ready to take your CAREER to the next level?

As a Service Technician , you will complete our award-winning, paid training to learn the skills required to be successful in the daily operation of a pest control service route. As a representative of our service team, you will build relationships with our customers, perform pest control related functions, and schedule and run your own route !

You W ill…

• Serve as a problem solver for your customers by combining the in-depth training provided and attention to detail to decide on the most efficient and best overall pest solution for each customer's needs


• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and practice customer service skills by discussing additional services that meet customer needs for a complete pest management program


• Follow a route schedule within assigned territory, allow flexibility with customer and weather-related factors and ensur e timely and safe arrival at each customer's home


• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment


• Complete all required service-related documentation and leverage your hand-held device provided for speed and accuracy

Qualifications

As a Service Technician at PermaTreat , you must possess the following skills /requirements :

• No Experience Required!


• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Must be 18 years or older to apply


• We will consider for employment all qualified applicants in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws.

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

You must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodation:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity


• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.


• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.


• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions


• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)


• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.
