Permatreat Pest Control Company, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to join our care-driven team in Virginia.

You will complete a paid training program to learn pest control operations while building strong relationships with customers on your daily route. Responsibilities include performing pest control tasks, scheduling and managing your own route, safely operating a company vehicle, and using a handheld device for fast, accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willingness to complete paid training and learn pest control basics.
• Ability to obtain pest license within 90 days of employment (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and deliver quality service.
• Perform pest control related tasks and protect customer properties.
• Schedule and run your own service route.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain cleanliness of equipment.

Responsibilities

As a Service Technician, you will complete our award-winning, paid training to learn the skills required to be successful in the daily operation of a pest control service route. As a representative of our service team, you will build relationships with our customers, perform pest control related functions, and schedule and run your own route!

You Will…

• Serve as a problem solver for your customers by combining the in‑depth training provided and attention to detail to decide on the most efficient and best overall pest solution for each customer's needs
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and practice customer service skills by discussing additional services that meet customer needs for a complete pest management program
• Follow a route schedule within assigned territory, allow flexibility with customer and weather‑related factors and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s home
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
• Complete all required service‑related documentation and leverage your hand‑held device provided for speed and accuracy

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

You must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodation:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route‑based assignments.
