Job summary

Insight Global partners with a leading security solutions company to hire a Service Technician in the Edina, MN area. You will service, troubleshoot, and support security systems at customer sites, including CCTV and access control, ensuring installations perform reliably.

You will diagnose issues with customers, assist with mobile app setup, perform maintenance, and document activities using smartphones and computer apps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with CCTV, card access, or residential low voltage systems.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and mobile devices for scheduling and documentation.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Service, troubleshoot, and support security systems at customer locations throughout the local territory

• Perform maintenance and basic repairs on security-related equipment
• Document service activities using smartphones and computer applications

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with CCTV, Card Access Systems, or Residential Low Voltage Systems
• Valid driver's license
• Experience using hand and power tools (drills, wire cutters, etc.)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and mobile devices for scheduling and documentation
