Scott Equipment Company in Alexandria, LA is seeking an experienced service technician to diagnose and repair construction equipment. You will perform component removal, disassembly, reconditioning, and follow technical manuals to ensure quality work.

Expect occasional overtime and weekend work. Strong mechanical, diesel and hydraulic skills, plus good communication and organizational abilities, are essential to succeed in this role at our customer-focused team.

Qualifications

• Excellent mechanical skills with diesel and hydraulic experience.
• Valid driver’s license as per policy.
• Ability to assemble and perform maintenance on equipment.

Job Description

This individual is responsible for performing diagnostics and repair of construction equipment as required. These repairs will consist of, but not limited to, complete component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning, and following prescribed technical manual procedures. This individual must be able to perform quality work as efficiently and profitably as possible, and also work overtime and weekends occasionally.

Qualifications

• Excellent mechanical skills; Diesel and hydraulic systems experience preferred
• Current and valid drivers license as outlined in company policy manual
• Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions on equipment
