You will troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks; service heat pumps; perform apartment turns; and help keep the community safe and welcoming.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in apartment, residential, or commercial settings.
• EPA Certification required; HVAC certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and carpentry.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must live within a 30-minute commute of the community.
• Strong customer service and ability to work independently within a team.

What You'll Be Doing

Join Morgan Properties as a Maintenance Service Technician supporting our Fox Run and Huntley Glen apartment communities in Bear, Delaware. As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, you will:

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry-related maintenance issues
• Diagnose and service split-system heat pumps and other residential mechanical systems
• Complete maintenance service requests efficiently while providing exceptional customer service
• Perform apartment turns and help prepare homes for new residents
• Maintain the appearance and safety of the community in accordance with company standards
• Communicate professionally with residents and onsite team members regarding repairs and work order updates
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule supporting Fox Run

Compensation & Incentives:

• Base Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Rotating paid on-call participation required
• Must be available to respond to after-hours emergency maintenance needs
• Schedule subject to change based on business needs

What We'll Expect From You:

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in apartment, residential, or commercial maintenance
• EPA Certification required; HVAC certification strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general carpentry
• Active, valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
• Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the community
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
