Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join a hands-on team delivering dependable service to residents. You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues, complete maintenance requests efficiently, and assist with apartment turns to prep homes for new residents.

A two-year maintenance background, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license are required; HVAC certification is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in apartment, residential, or commercial maintenance.
• EPA Certification required; HVAC certification strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general carpentry.
• Active, valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
• Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the community.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry-related maintenance issues
• Diagnose and service split-system heat pumps and other residential mechanical systems
• Complete maintenance service requests efficiently while providing exceptional customer service
• Perform apartment turns and help prepare homes for new residents
• Maintain the appearance and safety of the community in accordance with company standards
• Communicate professionally with residents and onsite team members regarding repairs and work order updates
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule supporting Fox Run

As a Maintenance Technician At Morgan Properties, You Will

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone
