Morgan Properties in New Castle, DE is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to troubleshoot HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing while delivering outstanding resident service. The role requires initiative and a commitment to keeping homes in excellent condition.

You will respond to tickets, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain interior/exterior areas per company standards. A valid driver’s license and a willingness to commute within 30 minutes are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance troubleshooting experience.
• Follows safety/compliance standards per company policy.
• 1 year of related maintenance experience preferred.

As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, you will:

• Be responsible fortrouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events
• *Schedule subject to change based on business needs

What We'll Expect From You

• Active, valid driver's license and a personal vehicle
• Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the property
• HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred
• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
