Job summary

Aggreko in Lemont, IL is seeking a Service Team Lead to base out of the Lemont service center and lead 20+ technical staff. You will supervise daily projects, ensure safety and quality, manage fleet deployment and inventory, and drive maintenance planning to meet deadlines.

You will report to the Service Center Manager and use MS Office and an ERP system to track performance, timesheets, and variance while promoting cost controls and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or relevant years of experience in power generation, HVAC, or equipment rental.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP system.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, customer service and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Base out of Lemont, IL service center to manage a team of 20+ technicians, ensuring safety and quality.
• Oversee scheduling, fleet and staff deployment for daily projects and inventory counts.
• Ensure facilities are safe, clean and operational; handle POs and service execution.
• Drive repair plan accuracy and forecasting to meet deadlines.
• Uphold cost controls and company policies for profitability and efficiency.
• Provide reporting, electronic timesheets, and variance analysis to the Service Center Manager.

What you’ll do:

• You will base out of ourLemont, IL.service center to manage a team of 20+ technical employees, providing functional and technical support while ensuring adherence to safety practices and quality standards
• Oversee scheduling, coordinating fleet and staff deployment for daily projects in the shop, and maintaining inventory accuracy and cycle counts
• Ensure that facilities are safe, clean, and operational; handle purchase orders and service execution; manage fleet maintenance, availability, and reliability
• Drive repair efficiencies through repair plan accuracy and forecasting accurate repair completion to meet deadlines.
• Drive adherence to business practices, cost controls, and company policies to ensure profitability, operational efficiency, and harmony
• Provide reporting and analysis for the Service Center Manager, maintain electronic timesheets, and technician time variance.

You are:

• Minimum of an associate’s degree or relevant years of experience preferably in the Power generation, HVAC industry, and/or equipment rental
• Proficiency in MS Office and prior experience with an ERP system
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, customer service and Leadership skills
• Strong organizational skills and Skilled at multi-tasking with flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and shifting priorities
• Management experience in a diverse and technical environment required
