The Service Team Coordinator handles inbound and outbound customer service calls related to patient scheduling, inquiries, and sales. The role is focused on delivering excellent customer service to support better patient health, adhering to policies and regulations. This position may require in-office presence when needed.

The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern Time.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Operate in a call center environment, handling inbound and outbound calls for patient scheduling, sales, and inquiries.
  • Respond to patient inquiries based on ChenMed’s care model.
  • Follow up to ensure patient satisfaction; escalate issues as needed.
  • Make timely decisions according to department standards and policies.
  • Document interactions using web-based technology.
  • Maintain business relationships through prompt and accurate service to promote loyalty.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure VIP customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or modified by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Business acuity at a competent level.
  • Understanding of core functions, practices, and procedures.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Passion for serving others, especially seniors, with initiative and solutions.
  • Ability to operate in a demanding environment.
  • Proficiency in keyboarding and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% locally, regionally, and nationally.
  • Fluency in English; bilingual skills (Spanish, Creole, Vietnamese) are a plus.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment highly preferred.
  • Experience with web-based CRM systems.
