The Service Team Coordinator handles outbound and inbound customer service calls related to patient scheduling, inquiries, and sales. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, supporting better patient health, and assisting with key business functions across ChenMed entities, all while adhering to policies and regulations. The role may require in-office presence when needed.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Operate in a call center environment, handling inbound and outbound calls for patient scheduling, sales, and inquiries.
  2. Respond to patient inquiries following ChenMed’s care model.
  3. Follow up to ensure service satisfaction, escalating issues as necessary.
  4. Make timely decisions based on department standards, procedures, and policies.
  5. Document interactions using web-based technology.
  6. Maintain business relationships through prompt, accurate service to promote loyalty.
  7. Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure VIP customer service.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  1. Business acuity at a competent level.
  2. Understanding of core job functions, practices, and procedures.
  3. Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills.
  4. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  5. Passion for serving others, especially seniors, with proactive solutions.
  6. Ability to operate in a demanding environment.
  7. Proficiency in keyboarding and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and other required systems.
  8. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  9. Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationwide up to 10%.
  10. Fluency in English; bilingual skills (Spanish, Creole, Vietnamese) are a plus.
Education and Experience
  1. High school diploma or GED required.
  2. At least 1 year of customer service experience required.
  3. Preferably 1 year in a call center or healthcare setting.
  4. Experience with web-based customer relationship management systems is a plus.
