The Service Team Coordinator handles outbound and inbound customer service calls related to patient scheduling, inquiries, and sales. This role is crucial for providing excellent customer service, supporting better patient health, and assisting across all ChenMed entities in line with policies and regulations. The role may require in-office presence when needed.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 9:45AM-6:45PM.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment related to patient scheduling, sales, and inquiries.
  • Respond to patient inquiries based on ChenMed’s care model.
  • Follow up with patients to ensure satisfaction and escalate issues as needed.
  • Make timely decisions according to department standards and policies.
  • Document interactions using web-based tools.
  • Maintain business relationships by providing prompt, accurate service to promote loyalty.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure VIP customer service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Business acumen at a competent level.
  • Understanding of core job functions, practices, and procedures.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Passion for serving others, especially seniors, with proactive solutions.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a demanding environment.
  • Proficiency in keyboarding and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Availability to travel locally, regionally, and nationwide up to 10%.
  • Fluency in English; bilingual skills (Spanish, Creole, Vietnamese) are a plus.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center.
  • Healthcare experience in a fast-paced setting is highly preferred.
  • Experience with web-based CRM systems is a plus.
