Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Northern Indiana seeks a Service Supervisor for the Commercial Compressed Air segment. You will lead the local service function, support sales to grow the business, and manage a Technician team that installs, repairs, and maintains compressors and system components.

The role includes overseeing the Service P&L, coordinating with service operations, driving efficiency, and ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction across all projects.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business apps.
• Comfort with handheld/mobile devices and networked systems.
• Understanding of cost control and business performance.
• Ability to work safely in mechanical/equipment environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach service staff to maximize performance.
• Coordinate with service operations to match technician skills.
• Support sales in service agreements and growth opportunities.
• Manage invoicing and warranty claims to ensure cash flow.
• Oversee service inventory and SOX-compliant reporting.
• Ensure EH&S compliance across the service team.
