Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Livonia, MI is seeking a Service Supervisor for the commercial compressed air segment to lead the local service function across the equipment life cycle and to support the sales team in growing the business.

The role manages a Service Technician team, drives safety and process improvements, and owns the service P&L for the customer center, with regional travel and a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant services experience with industrial equipment.
• 3+ years leading teams with coaching and mentoring responsibilities.
• 3+ years in customer service leadership including conflict resolution.
• Valid driver's license with clean record per policy.

Responsibilities

• Attract, coach, train, and retain service staff; drive performance and training.
• Coordinate with service and sales to grow service contracts and leads.
• Ensure timely invoicing and warranty processing; manage budgets.
• Oversee service inventory and SOX-compliant reporting.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and training for the team.
• Support field technicians across installations, repairs, and maintenance.
