TK Elevator in Cleveland, OH seeks an experienced Superintendent- Service to oversee field service operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective performance across multiple job sites.

You will assist mechanics, review route profitability, and maintain current knowledge of elevator codes. The role involves training, bids, and material cost input, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years’ experience managing at a branch department level or equivalent
• Ability to write reports, contract proposals and business correspondence
• Ability to present information clearly to management and customers
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions and variables
• Requires a valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle report

Responsibilities

• Visits job sites and performs quality audits to ensure route work is efficient and cost-effective
• Assists mechanics with jobs and provides on-the-job training
• Reviews route profitability using accounting reports and shares insights with management
• Participates in safety training
• Provides input on scope, materials, and labor costs for bids
• Keeps up-to-date with federal, state and local elevator codes
• Maintains knowledge of company products through training and supplier updates
• Determines materials needed for service, repairs, and parts orders
• Performs other duties as assigned
