Job summary

TK Elevator in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Superintendent- Service to oversee field service operations, support technicians, and ensure efficient, compliant maintenance of elevator systems.

You will audit on-site work, assist mechanics, review route profitability, and communicate with the service manager to improve performance. A valid driver's license and practical management experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or two years of management experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to write reports, contract proposals and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from management and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicles Report.

Responsibilities

• Visit job sites and audit routes for efficiency and cost management.
• Perform NIM audits within 15 days of turnover and suggest improvements.
• Assist mechanics and provide on-the-job training.
• Review route profitability using accounting reports and provide feedback to management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of elevator industry codes and standards.
• Determine materials needed and order parts for service and repairs.
• Support safety training and participate in safety programs.
• Provide input to sales on scope of work and materials for bids.
