Job summary

TK Elevator in Cleveland, OH is seeking an experienced Superintendent- Service to oversee service operations and support cost-effective field execution. You will audit, assist mechanics, and provide input on bids and materials, while ensuring compliance with elevator industry codes.

The role emphasizes safety training, field evaluation feedback, and collaboration with sales to scope repair work. A driver’s license is required; a vehicle may be provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to write reports, contract proposals and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Visits job sites and performs quality audits to ensure route work is completed efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Performs NIM job audits within 15 days of construction and modernization turnovers; identifies issues and provides improvement feedback.
• Assists mechanics with jobs, including troubleshooting and on-the-job training.
• Uses accounting reports to review route profitability and provide feedback and data to management.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of federal, state and local elevator industry code requirements.
• Determines materials needed for service, repairs, and orders parts.
