Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Superintendent- Service in Chicago, IL to support efficient, cost-effective field operations.

Responsibilities include site visits, audits, training mechanics, and preparing costed bid inputs while ensuring adherence to safety and industry codes. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a valid driver’s license are required, with a focus on delivering high-quality service outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience managing service operations or construction projects.
• Ability to prepare reports, proposals and business correspondence.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Familiarity with elevator industry codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Visit job sites to audit route efficiency and costs.
• Perform NIM audits within 15 days of turnovers and identify issues.
• Assist mechanics and provide on-the-job training.
• Review profitability using accounting reports and provide management feedback.
• Support safety training and prepare materials for bids and approvals.
