Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking a Service Engineer to support the development and execution of service strategies for ORV crossover and ATV product lines.

You will partner across Engineering, Central Service, and the Strategic Business Unit to improve serviceability and lead field campaigns. You will own service strategy input for product development, mentor the Technical Service team, and ensure alignment with dealership and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing, or related engineering discipline.
• Three or more years of related engineering experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with snowmobile powertrains and systems.
• Significant project-management experience across stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Ability to build networks and influence decisions at leadership levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data presentation; open to new tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead service strategy, readiness, and support for assigned product lines.
• Represent Service on product development programs and provide serviceability requirements.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering to eliminate service issues.
• Lead field campaign execution including project management of Field Execution Process.
• Support global Technical Service by addressing dealer challenges and mentoring team members.
• Maintain cross-functional communication on product issues across several functions.
• Assess parts-supply risks and drive cross-functional resolutions.
• Contribute to owner, service, and parts manuals and dealer training materials.
• Lead development of special service tools and ensure Polaris Digital Wrench supports products.
• Represent Service in Post Sales Surveillance activities and manage escalated inquiries.
