Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking a Service Engineer to lead service strategy and readiness for ORV Crossover and ATV lines.

You will partner with Engineering, Central Service, and dealerships to improve serviceability, drive field campaigns, and mentor the team across a broad cross-functional network. The role focuses on serviceability input for product development, field-quality execution, and tools development, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing, or related engineering discipline.
• Three or more years of related engineering experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical experience with snowmobile powertrains and systems.
• Significant project-management experience across stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data presentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead service strategy, readiness, and support for assigned product lines, aligning non-technical service strategies with unit priorities.
• Represent Service on product development programs, providing serviceability requirements and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering to eliminate service issues during design and lead corrective actions.
• Lead field campaign execution and manage projects within the Bulletin Field Execution Process.
• Support global Technical Service in diagnosing dealer challenges and mentor team members.
• Maintain cross-functional communication on product issues with multiple departments.
• Assess parts-supply risks and field-quality impacts; drive resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to owner, service, and parts manuals and dealer training materials.
• Lead development of special service tools and ensure diagnostic software supports new products.
• Represent Service in Post Sales Surveillance and respond to escalated inquiries.
