FleetPride in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Production Shop Supervisor to oversee the activities of production mechanics and service writers. You will support the Branch and Shop to ensure all customer orders are completed and recorded, and you will train new employees on company procedures for service shop operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years in a service shop, including 2 years in a supervisory role, and holds a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 4 years of general service shop experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
• Valid drivers’ license with clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Review work to ensure effective and efficient performance.
• Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staffing and respond to workloads.
• Provide direction and assistance in solving problems with employees.
• Communicate with employees and management to ensure procedures are followed and new methods are adopted.
• Appraise and document employee performance and plan improvements.
• Handle pay increase recommendations based on performance.
• Obtain approvals for payment arrangements before starting work.
• Ensure all jobs are recorded on the service log board and kept up to date.
• Monitor and coordinate daily operations with the Service Manager to maintain quality.
• Close invoices daily and provide daily logs and invoices to the Service Manager.
• Ensure high-priority processing of return orders and timely delivery to customers.
