Job summary

Hunter Truck in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Service Shop Foreman to ensure repairs are completed by qualified technicians and to maintain high customer satisfaction. The role supervises technicians, coordinates work flow, and manages shop safety and equipment while partnering with the Service Manager on recruiting and performance reviews.

The position offers a full-time schedule (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM) at 4637 Campbells Run Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15205, with opportunities to mentor staff

Qualifications

• Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Experience supervising and developing technicians preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally to promote goodwill and confidence.
• Delegate and distribute work to qualified technicians.
• Provide complete understanding of work and time needed.
• Provide accurate repair estimates and inform customers of delays.
• Monitor all jobs to ensure quality standards.
• Assist technicians with skill development and training.
• Schedule future appointments to manage workload.
• Ensure warranty documentation and proper processing of claims.
• Maintain shop tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Oversee department safety and compliance with regulations.
