Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products, seeks a Service Coordinator to manage service requests, schedule technicians, and deliver exceptional customer service from intake to completion.

You will coordinate with customers, builders, homeowners, and internal teams, ensuring efficient service delivery, accurate documentation, and responsive issue resolution in a fast-paced, office-based environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of customer service, scheduling, dispatching, service coordination, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in building materials, construction, manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
• Experience using ERP systems, scheduling software, CRM platforms, or service management systems (BisTrack or similar) preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Primarily office-based with frequent interaction with field personnel and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service requests from intake through completion and serve as primary customer contact.
• Schedule service appointments based on technician availability and priorities.
• Create, maintain, and update service orders in ERP and service management systems.
• Monitor service workflows and ensure accurate status updates and documentation.
• Support warranty administration, billing processes, and service reporting.
• Collaborate with Service Technicians, Field Managers, Sales, Operations, and warehouse staff.
